Dundee Schools Championships

 

S1 Boys 1st S3/4 Boys 1st
S2 Boys 2nd Senior Boys 2nd
S1 Girls 3rd Senior Girls 2nd
S2 Girls 1st

 

Individual Medalists:

Elizabeth McLeish was 1st from S2 girls.

Elizabeth has been selected to represent the Scottish Schools’ Athletic Association in the British Schools’ Cross-Country International in Dublin on Saturday 29th March 2003.

 

Rugby

The S1 Tag Rugby teams (girls & boys) played in a demonstration Tag Rugby game during the interval in the Scotland v Ireland under 21 International.

 In the schools 7’s Tournament, the Harris team coached by Mr Clarkson finished 2nd in their section, only losing to the eventual winners, Blairgowrie High School.

Ben Cormack, John Brady, Richard McIver have been invited to join Tayside Tigers &U’16 Regional Team.

       

Football

Dean Smart 4Cb is a member of the Scotland Under 16 training squad who are due to go to France for an international tournament involving teams from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, France & Germany.


Cricket

John Brown 4Cb represented Scotland at under-15 level.  As opening bowler, he took 4 wickets over 3 matches v Holland, Denmark & Ireland in the European Championships in Denmark.

Umair Mohammed 6Fb has represented the Scottish under 17 team who played in Lancashire

 
Dance Show
A large number of pupils and a few brave staff participated in the annual Dance Show which took place in the Assembly Hall on Friday 21st March.  The audience who joined in enthusiastically in the evenings’ entertainment fully enjoyed a varied selection of music and dance.   The evening raised over £600 towards the minibus appeal.
