Once again this has been a busy extra curricular term for pupils.  The annual Interhouse cross country championships were held on 28^th February with Birnam winning the overall event.  Sixty pupils then participated in the Dundee Schools Cross Country Championships at Dawson Park – the C girls team won Gold; the D girls, A girls, D boys, C Boys, B boys teams won silver and the A boys won bronze.  Three pupils won individual Silver medals – Yolanda Hodgson, Liam Ross and Lizzie MacLeish.  Well done to everyone who took part.

The boys U’15 rugby team had an excellent run in the Bell Laurie Scottish Schools U’15 Plate Competition, only losing to Knox Academy in the quarter final.  The S1 boys football team played at Gussie Park in the 2^nd round of the Coca Cola 7’s but unfortunately did not progress further.  The Inter House Sports Championship saw another first this term – for the first time Dance has been included in the programme and is proving popular with most age groups.

Next term will bring more Inter House events – the annual Swimming Gala (24^th April), the Schools Athletics Championships and many more lunchtime activities.  Watch out for notices about these events and enter your name to help your House win the next Inter House Championship.  The House winner for February was again Birnam, well done to everyone who joined in to help make them successful.
