Golf

Congratulations to the team of golfers who travelled to Fife on 30 March. Ross Bell, Scott Harris, Mark Weir, Steven Scott were winners of Elmwood College Interschool Golf Competition. This competition was organised by HNC students at Elmwood college as part of their course assessment and was done extremely well. Teams of 4 pupils plus 1 teacher were invited from all over the country to this stableford event, with all scores combining to decide the winner. The team look forward to defending their trophy next year.

Boys and Girls Coca Cola 7’s

Football teams won through the first round of Gussie Park. Then at Tannadice the boys team qualified for the next stage, the girls team losing out by 1 goal. The boys now go to Lesser Hampden for the Regional Finals on 28 April — hopefully they will win one of the 2 places available in the Final at Hampden.

Badminton

In the Dundee and Angus Schools Championship our pupils gained their now customary haul of medals. In the Under 19 age group Stephanie Scott Flynn was girls’ champion. Remy Scott Flynn and Stephanie Scott Flynn were girls’ doubles champions and Remy Scott Flynn and Adam Foxall were runners up in the mixed doubles.
