One of our Fourth Year Boys has been selected to represent Scotland Under-16s at an international hockey tournament in Hamburg, Germany.

He began playing hockey in Primary 6 and soon joined the local club, Dundee Wanderers.  Over the last 5 years he has represented Midlands District at Under 12, 14, 15, 16 and 18 levels.  Although he has played most of his hockey in midfield, he was selected for the Scotland Under-16 side in April at left back.

He will certainly not have a dull school holidays.  He will play two friendly matches against Ireland on 29th-30th June but this is merely a warm-up for the main event.  From 10th to 14th July, he will be playing in the Six Nations European Trophy in Hamburg.  This will involve a match every day against England, Poland, Wales, Belgium and Germany.

Jacqueline Scott 5Ba has been selected to represent Scotland in the British Schools Athletics Match at Tullamore in Ireland on Sunday 21^st July.
