This term several pupils have achieved success in a variety of activities:  Casey Avril - Archery; Robin McGill, Alanna Carroll and Amanda Primrose – SSFA U’15 East District Trials; Tom Carrie and Jessica Law have been invited to join the Dundee Sports Hall training squad following their excellent performance at a recent Giant Decathlon event.

Mrs Golden, the School Sports Coordinator, has worked tirelessly to increase extra curricular activities this session.  All pupils age 3 to 8 from our feeder primaries and nurseries are now offered swimming, dance and football sessions – they are so popular that extra classes will be starting in January.  Inter House events in a wide range of sports have been running on Tues/Wes/Thurs lunchtimes, organised by Mrs Golden but run by House Officials and CSLA pupils.  The Enterprise Committee have donated an “Inter House “House of the Month” shield – the first winners were Cawdor.

Wednesday 13^th /Friday 15^th December is our annual S1/2 Activity afternoon when all pupils who have participated  regularly in class are offered an afternoon of sports.  There are 150 S1 pupils and 170 S2 pupils taking part in dance, trampolining, waterpolo, football or multisports as a reward for their excellent effort and kit bringing all year.
