On Friday 25 June, 2004 two teams from Harris Academy took part in the Annual E.M.I.D. Competition, held this year in Harris Academy. The competition comprised 5 rounds of mathematics games, puzzles and skills and the teams worked as individual, pairs and a group to complete the various challenges set. The Harris Blue Team of Leanne Milne 3Kb Sam McCreadie 3Kb David Ewen 3Ka Ryan Fleming 3Fb were awarded second place in the Poster round and second place overall.
The Harris Red Team of Tess Forbes-McMurchie 3Fa Philip McGavin 3Fb Pamela Graham 3Fa Ross Waddell 3Fb were the overall winners of the event and will go on to represent Dundee in the National final later this year. Congratulations to both teams for their commitment and achievement.
