Congratulations to one of our 4th Year boys on his selection to represent Scotland Under-16 Hockey at an international tournament in Hamburg, Germany on 10th to 14th July.  Further details are available on the Sports Website, or by clicking here.

Honour for Harris Teacher

While the main purpose of these pages is to recognise the achievements of Harris pupils, no one will begrudge the inclusion of a feature on a long-serving member of staff and former pupil.

David Stibbles has run the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme in the school for over 30 years and, during this time, has helped Harris pupils attain well over 1000 bronze, almost 600 silver and 391 gold awards.  Mr Stibbles' dedication was formally recognised on 16th June when he was awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours.

United Kingdom Maths Challenge

Congratulations to one of our S1 pupils for his success in the junior version of the United Kingdom Mathematical Challenge.  From almost 80 S1 and S2 pupils who took part, he achieved the highest marks for this year's event and the highest total achieved by a Harris pupil since the start of the competition.

He will now represent the school in the next stage of the tournament.
