(Courtesy of The Courier, Dundee) The coffers of the Harris Academy Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme have been swollen for the third year in a row by the fund-raising efforts of Dundee man Alan Douglas.
Mr Douglas again enlisted
the help of colleagues from local Asda stores to get the £1000
which was presented to the school yesterday (9 September). He and
colleagues climbed 1150m high Bidean nam Bian at Glencoe, raising £365
in Perth Asda, £135 at Portlethen Asda and £100 at each of five other
stores. |
