Silent Auction

Gordon Laird, President of the F.P. Association, has for many years been a well known and highly respected member of the arts community.  He has always taken pride in being a former pupil of the school and has been a tireless supporter of any project which would benefit the current generation of pupils.

Once again he has shown his generosity by donating a landscape to be the subject of a silent auction as part of the fund-raising drive towards a new school minibus.  A firm bid of £300 has already been received but we are sure that many others will be interested in bidding for this unique item.

D f L Awards 2002-03

As parents and pupils know well, the school's Discipline for Learning program is based upon the concept of rewarding pupils who have worked and behaved well.  On Thursday, 7th November, it was the turn of S3 pupils who have attained the bronze certificate to receive their reward.  Instead of attending normal classes in the afternoon, bronze award winners were provided with a special afternoon of entertainment.

Since it is the turn of S4 tomorrow, it would be unfair to reveal what is in store for them.  The picture above therefore shows only part of the audience at today's entertainment.
