Making It in Scotland

On Wednesday 1 February, pupils in S2 visited the Making it in Scotland exhibition in the Caird Hall.  Organised by Careers Scotland, this gave the pupils the chance to find out about careers in manufacturing, and to get involved in a number of hands-on activities.  Many more pics of the event are available by visiting the pupilweb or by clicking here.
 

Home Economics Initiative

Harris Academy has a new after-school club for pupils.  Every Tuesday evening, pupils will have the chance to work with Dundee College chef Walter McCrindle to develop their culinary skills.  The club is a partnership between the school's home economics department and the college's hospitality department.
