Funday 2001

Following upon the great success of last year, the Harris held another Fun(d)day on Wednesday June 20th.

A variety of events was held throughout the morning.  As ever, computer gaming was highly popular but was rivalled by the popularity of the Bouncy Castle. (So much for youngsters only enjoying high-tech!)  The football challenge, and the wide variety of stalls in the assembly hall, were all well attended although pupils seemed a little shy about joining in the Karaoke.

The afternoon had three main themes.  For those requiring a bit of a rest, a variety of films was on show.  For the more active, the Radio Tay disco provided the entertainment.  The "Stars in their Eyes" competition enjoyed a packed audience as staff and pupils showed off their "talents".

Early estimates suggest that the Funday raised over £2,000 for the school fund.  Much more information about the fun(d)day is now available  in the Archives.
