Tsunami Disaster

In common with communities across the world, staff and pupils at the school were shocked and deeply saddened by the natural disaster in south-east Asia.

On the first day of the new term, Mr Thewliss talked to each year group about these tragic events and about how the school could make some small contribution towards the relief effort.

On 7th January, collection buckets were positioned outside the offices of the head teacher and deputy head.  By the end of the day, approximately £2.300 had been donated.  Sincere thanks to everyone for their generosity.
