Pupils from Harris Academy's Young Enterprise group donated their profits from the year to charity on Saturday (4th June).  Their company, Scope Innovations, raised £90 for the British Heart Foundation, £90 for the British Red Cross and £120 for the Maggie's Centre.  Throughout the year the company sold a cookery book, put on a fashion show and made Christmas and corporate cards.

 

 

Harris Academy scoops business award

Pupils from Harris Academy in Dundee won the overall award for the best business in The Royal Bank of Scotland Young Enterprise Scotland Tayside area finals at Craigie High School.

Harris Academy, who called their company Scope Innovations, were one of seven teams taking part.  Scope Innovations produced a range of goods including a cook book, hand-made Christmas cards, corporate seasonal cards, gift tags, crackers, stockings, wrapping paper and ornaments.  Formed in September, the company made a profit of £350.
