World War One - A Respectful Tribute
| Like all too many communities, Harris Academy has had to count the cost of the sacrifice of its children during two World Wars. Since 1921, a Memorial Board has paid tribute to the fallen of World War One. |

| Sadly, the
passage of time has meant that the long list of names on the memorial
board has little personal meaning to the present generation of pupils.
To rectify this, we hope to provide information, however brief, as a
respectful tribute to pupils of the school who made the supreme sacrifice.
