Battlefields Trip 2005

In June 2005, a party of pupils and staff from the school visited the sites of several of the battlefields of World War One in Belgium and northern France. Although the primary purpose of the visit was educational, it had a second - equally important - objective. Sadly, many Harris Former Pupils lost their lives during the Great War and are now buried in one of the many war cemeteries of the region. The school wished to honour their memory by placing a simple tribute at their last resting place. Sincere thanks to the Former Pupils Association for the help they provided in this project.
