World War One - A Respectful Tribute

We are greatly aided in this task by many years of work on the part of Mr James Gray, of the English Department.  He has spent many hours researching the background behind the names on the Memorial Board for World War One and, in recent years, has provided a display as part of the school's annual Armistice Day ceremony.

Such a project must start with modest beginnings and commences with a soldier whose family connection with the school endures into the 21st century.
