Football Triumph 2003
| On Friday, 5th
September, the school was visited by four former pupils - bringing with
them the Scottish Junior Cup. They were members of the Tayport
side which triumphed in last years Scottish Junior Cup Final.
Derek Wemyss, Roberto Morris, Gareth Dailly and David Evans all played for Harris school football teams. They were all in successful teams - winning numerous trophies including league titles, Senior Sports Cup and also the Dundee United Cup. Roberto Morris and Gareth Dailly also played in the final of the Scottish Schools Under-18s at Hampden, losing out on penalties. Morris, Dailly and Evans then all went senior with Forfar, Dundee United and Arbroath respectively. Evans has most recently signed for Raith Rovers. They were all involved in Tayport's most successful season ever in 2002-2003 - winning the East Super League, the N.C.R. Cup, the North End Cup and, the holy grail of them all, the O.V.D. Scottish Junior Cup.
