Assessment

Full certification is achieved by:

Advanced Higher	Successful completion of all units
	Terminal examination (30%)
	Product Design Case Study and interview from visiting assessor (70%)
Intermediate 2 /Higher	Successful completion of all units
	Terminal examination (40%)
	Submission of a Design Assignment (60%)
Int 1 and Int 2 Practical Craft Skills	Successful completion of all units
	Successful completion of practical project

Additional Information

This course provides possible progression from:

Advanced Higher Product Design	Higher Product Design at A or B pass
Higher Product Design	Standard Grade Craft and Design or Graphic Communication or Art and Design at grades 1 or 2. Intermediate 2 Craft and Design.
Intermediate 2 Product Design	Standard Grade Craft and Design, Graphic Communication or Art and Design at Grades 3 or 4
Int 1 + 2 Practical Craft Skills	No formal entry requirement
