Enterprising Maths in Dundee

On Friday, 22nd June the Harris hosted the Enterprising Maths for Dundee competition for 2001.  This featured teams from schools throughout the city.

The theme of this years competition was "2001 : A Space Odyssey".  Each school in Dundee entered two teams who competed in a poster competition and several mathematical games and problems throughout the day.

Morgan Academy were the eventual overall winners and the Harris "red" team came in a creditable 5th out of 20.  The Harris pupils were Faina Shpiro, Stephanie Scott-Flynn, David Bajek, Andrew Gow, Jed Iyaniwura, Simon Fraser, Rowan Forster and Kieran Walesby.
