The Battle of Culloden

As part of their second year course, all pupils study a unit on the Jacobite Rebellions, with a particular emphasis on the battle of Culloden in 1746. As part of the assessment process, they are required to produce a piece of extended writing describing this battle.

In preparation for this, they spend a few periods watching the epic documentary on Culloden produced over 20 years ago.  As they watch, pupils are encouraged to take notes which will help them in their assignment.
