The Oregon Trail
All second year pupils study a unit of work about the American West. As part of this, they learn about the wagon trains which crossed the breadth of America during the 19th century. Pupils are then asked to write a diary outlining the experiences they would have had if they had taken part in the Oregon Trail. Examples can be seen by clicking on the links below.
