The Jaguar F1 Team in Schools Challenge is a competition, open to all UK based secondary schools, sixth form colleges, colleges of further education and other organised youth groups to design and manufacture CO2 powered model racing cars. 

On Friday 2 December, a team from Harris joined teams from all over Scotland in the Scottish Regional Competition, held at the Sensation Science Centre.  The Harris entry was judged best overall in the 16 to 18 age group and will now go on to compete in the National finals in Birmingham. 

This success continued in early January when the team won 2nd place in the 16 to 18 age group in the National Finals - a remarkable achievement considering the limited time which the team had been together.
