The Dance Show

The Dance Show took place on Wednesday the 30th of January. After the crowd piled in, got settled and they fixed the broken amp we got off to a start of all the Harris Dancers dancing to "I've Had the Time of my Life". It was good to watch how they worked all those people into a dance in our small hall.
Then we got a view of some of our guests. The Dancers from Baldragon were followed by Menzieshill dancers who suffered the misfortune of a technical hitch. Then we got a another blast from our Harris pupils - this time it was the Dance Club's chance to show their talent. They had been taught by Pamela Dunbar and Leona Anderson.
Next it was the beginning of Harris's individual dance which started with a tribute to Destiny's Child, soon followed by a brilliant performance to Samantha Mumba. Then a good performance of "On a Night Like this". Then it was Braeview who performed to "Last Night Of The World".
Then it was break time which was followed by the raffle. Which was followed by an amazing performance from two Harris 5th years who performed to "Scream". Then it was the turn of some Ancrum Road pupils who showed us their skills of a traditional Scottish dance called "Round Real Of Eight". Then we had another tribute to Destiny's Child, Take That and it was topped off with a performance to Fame. Then of course there was the finale which obviously involved everyone.
Despite the first couple of technical hitches the whole night went well and I'm sure the whole audience enjoyed it!
