| Carol Concert |
This annual Carol Concert is always one of the highlights of the school
year. The public performance was held in St John's Cross Church on
Thursday 21st December and, as always, attracted a good attendance of
parents and pupils. This was followed the next morning by the whole
school service, which brought the school term to a fitting end.

The service included a series of readings by the school captains (shown above), pupils from both senior and junior years and by Mr Thewliss. Along with a series of traditional Christmas carols, a delightful touch was added by the junior choir with their performance of Winter Wonderland, while the Madrigal Group showed its quality with a fine performance of Joy to the World.
